IPL stands for Intense Pulse Light, this ‘facial’ uses a light spectrum to rejuvenate aged, wrinkled skin and signs of aging from sun damage. It’s not a typical facial that has microdermabrasion, or extraction, its more geared towards using a light wavelength to revitalize skin.

IPL targets and resolves uneven skin colour, texture, discoloration, pigments, brown spots, freckles and broken blood vessels. This treatment is also beneficial for acne and rosacea prone skin. After multiple session, the skin will have a balanced appearance with a reduced pore size.

The IPL PhotoFacial consists of pulses of light energy being administered to the treated area, the technology we have incorporates a cooling system within the handpiece that disperses the heat from the light energy.  Best results are achieved through a series of treatments, a consultation can determine the number of treatments you may need.

Patients may experience a ‘flushed’ complexion after the treatment, and darker pigments may crust and flake off within the first day or two. Wearing sunscreen and avoiding excess sun exposure is recommended, there is no downtime and you can resume normal activities right after
